EDEN VOICE

Privacy policy

Effective date: 30 September 2026
Developer: MARX SF · Android package: com.marx.edenvoice

EDEN VOICE is a Christian songbook app developed by MARX SF. This policy explains how information is handled when you read lyrics, save songs, listen to audio, watch videos or contact us.

Information stored on your device

The app does not require an account. Songbook searches run locally. Favourites, reading and display preferences, playback settings and any saved lyric timings are stored on your device. Audio you choose to download is saved in the app’s storage for offline listening. These items are not uploaded to a developer-operated account or server.

Online audio and video

Streaming or downloading audio connects your device to third-party media hosts. Loading video thumbnails or watching embedded videos connects to YouTube and Google. These providers receive network information such as your IP address, requested media and request time, and may receive device or browser information. YouTube may use cookies or similar technologies and process viewing activity according to its own settings and policies. Embedded videos may include advertising supplied by YouTube.

Third-party processing is governed by those providers’ policies, including the Google Privacy Policy. Opening external links, including social-media links, also connects to the selected provider. Their data retention and privacy controls are managed by them.

Optional push notifications

From version 3.6.0, you can enable song updates and announcements delivered by Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. Messaging registration starts after you choose to enable notifications and Android allows them. Firebase processes app installation identifiers, notification registration tokens, topic subscriptions and technical delivery information to route messages to your device. The app subscribes to the EDEN VOICE updates topic; we do not maintain a separate developer-operated token database. Google processes this information under its Firebase privacy and security terms. The app does not include Firebase Analytics.

You can decline the prompt and continue using the app, or change notification permissions through About → App notifications → Android settings. Blocking notifications stops their display; it does not necessarily erase Firebase’s existing installation records. Uninstalling or clearing app storage removes local app data. Firebase retains server-side information according to its service policies. A test-token copy option is available for testing; only share that token with a trusted administrator of your Firebase project.

Analytics, advertising and sensitive permissions

The app does not include a developer-operated analytics service or a separate advertising SDK. It does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone or precise location. Internet and network-state access support online media and optional notifications; foreground media playback and wake-lock permissions support audio playback, including in the background. Android 13 and later require notification permission to show announcements.

Support correspondence may be handled by our email provider or disclosed where required by law. The app uses HTTPS for online media requests. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and deletion

Children’s privacy

EDEN VOICE includes VBS songs that may be used by children. The app does not ask children to create accounts or submit personal information. Parents and guardians should supervise access to online media, which is provided by third parties. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
